I think its time to announce that we are moving to Utah. Yes, it came as quite a surprise to us as well.
After four years of living in Marin/San Francisco we will be leaving at the end of April. We're looking to buy a house somewhere in Salt Lake County.
We're very excited to have FREE babysitting (thanks to my mom & dad) within a short drive. And I am particularly excited to take classes at BYU versus only online. Also, our favorite restaurant, Bajio, will be there for us 24/7.
We are not excited to be leaving our friends, and of course, the beautiful Marin County. The thought of snow seems somehow ludicrous, in light of the perfect weather we enjoy 358 days a year here. Still, the appeal of snowboarding again out weighs the prospect of shoveling my car out of the snow to actually get to the lifts.
Bay Area Friends: Our doors are always open, so come and visit.

You will be very missed! At least you will be close to your family :) What inspired you guys to move?
Question: Is the place your living in - are you renting or did you buy it? I have been thinking of moving to San Rafael.. but its still up in the air..
YAY! I am happy you are coming back! Now we can get together!!! What about PG? We have lots of great houses on the market here!!
WOW!!! I didn't see that coming AT ALL! Of course I am a little out of the San Rafael loop these days. It seems like everyone is moving to Utah and hopefully soon we'll be joining you in Salt Lake area as well. Let me know where you find a house- I've been researching although we don;t even have a job yet. I am trying to do the "law of attraction" thing. Good luck- can;t wait for updates!
WOW, big news! Congrats.
Wow!! What is it with bishopric members moving to Salt Lake? LOL. So sad!! We will miss you guys!
Wow, that's a big change. Good luck with the new adventure. (Oh, and snow has not been nearly as bad as we feared :)
Yay, Im so excited to have my Ren back and play with your cute little babies!
Oh my goodness! That's so ironic! We're graduating and moving to California in June. Well, I'll have to come visit you so we don't keep missing each other! That's so great--congratulations! :)
Oh how sad for us who live in San Fran! We'll miss ya! You'll have to come back and visit!
That is so exciting. I am sure it'll be a hard transition but so fun at the same time. Right now I can't imagine moving back even though I would love to. :) YEAH!! (Careful...when you said cat out of the bag I thought I was going to hear you're expecting.)
Lauren. What in the world? I'm so jealous. I would love to be back with my family and friends! BUT we are going to Utah for the month of August before school so we will have to reunite!! What brought this on??
wow, how exciting! I must say I am jealous though...I really want to move out of cali. :)
