John Sr. Visit
This past weekend John's dad came out for a day to visit. It had been a long time since we'd seen him and we were so happy to have him here. Triton was particularly happy to have him around - He Loves his Grandpa John. And Bronze, amazingly, liked him too. (Bronze has a hard time with new people.)

Returning to Your Roots
When John and I first moved to Tiburon we dug up a plant from the hillside to put on our balcony. Three years later, we decided it was time to return this plant back to where it came from. Mainly, because our kids couldn't seem to resist pulling the leaves off.
Triton and Bronze both have nasty colds, so by the end of the 15 minute drive, Bronze was Zonked. Triton was of course happy to be outside.
Here are the views from our old apartment.
San Francisco in the background.
It was really weird to be there again - espeically because our old pad is currently vacant. It was like we had just left.
You know, Im surprised we even own a shovel. I dont know where it even came from. Anyway, our plant was successfully returned to the earth.
Ah, such fond memories of this place. We both realy, really miss it.
After visiting our old place we went to the waterfront to let Triton get a little air. John braved the rocks, and I snapped an iconic photo. Thats the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

Pillow Fights
Triton and Bronze love to have pillow fights. Even if they are the merciless victims of their father's attacking, they love to be beat up.
It all starts so innocently. Here they are just playing with toys together.
This time Bronze was the one to attack.
He triumphantly stands with his weapon of choice.
He even decides to pose after his onslaught.
Triton decides he's had enough and plays with his binoculars alone - and of course, he only uses them backward,
And Bronze goes about being very happy. I'm just happy this one didn't end with tears as they occasionally do. Life is rarely boring with two little boys.

The grind
So, a blog is supposed to be for people who have lots of cool stuff happening - or at least that is the way I always thought it was supposed to be... update
it when somethings awesome or new. Well, sadly, now that we're kind of in that "everyday grind"not very much happens that is really awesome or new. Okay, so interesting things happen on occasion, but not everyday. Here is what our pretty typical daily grind is like at least.
This morning we went to the gym. Triton, Bronze and I loaded up in the stroller and took the two block walk to the gym. Today was a treat though. Instead of having my hellish spin class as I do Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, it was ballet barre, where I get to pretend to be graceful and talented. Let me tell you it is always such a joy to have your body forced and contorted in positions that just aren't humanly possible. Instead of the graceful beauty
that ballet typically radiates, my class is filled with a bunch of people who more closely resemble this- a lot of older woman (and one old man named Roger) who are unbelievably limber. Throw in my nazi ballet teacher, Constantine (I wont list his superb credentials now), and you're in for a treat. If nothing else, I leave with a goal of how flexible I want to be when I am 60 too. And of course, the realization that I am no where even close to graceful or flexible. Sheesh. After the torture of bending to the point my legs each feel like a ton of bricks each, I get to come home and start lunch. That is pretty self-explanitory so I wont go into it. The fun part comes after lunch - the nap time battle. After putting both boys in their beds, this is what I find 15 minutes later...
Um, yeah, still waiting for nap time to happen.

ing off for two weeks? or 3) read a book that has nothing to do with my classes, or anything really pertinant at the moment? Hmmm. I have yet to decide what to do. Naptime is precious, valuable time as all mothers know.My dear husband, during all this, is out with Adam mountain biking somewhere in the mountains. I dont know where, but only know that he is extremely muddy when he gets home looking something like this. I do have pictures on John's phone. Which will make an excellent blog post at another time. So, there you have it, there is our pretty typical morning. But looking at this muddy biker has me thinking that maybe I should impede on his man time, and join him sometime soon. Lets face it, muddy husbands are hot! And its not very often that you get to find them not only being dangerously daring, but muddy too. For now, here's a sampling of adventures to come.
