Is it wrong of me to have my kids write letters to Santa,
if I've been made well aware,
that the shopping is already done?
I mean, totally, completely, and thoroughly done -
to the point that I,
I mean Santa,
might just be shopped out.
I think that might be a first for me.
Upon further thought,
I think I'll still let the kids write letters to Santa today,
and then actually put them in a mailbox.
Because I've been informed,
there is a certain mailbox up where we live
where Santa actually writes back.
What kind of mother would I be,
if I did not take advantage of that!?
I leave you with a picture of myself,
in a pie-induced drunken stupor,
on Thanksgiving.
Which I think actually better depicts my current state of
anti-shopping-ness.
My eyes look exhausted, no?
